While many of us spent Super Bowl weekend eating game day food, the brothers of Kappa Sigma fraternity at 91吃瓜网 fasted for 24 hours preceding the Super Bowl in what is known as their Super Hungerfest. The initiative is aimed to raise awareness about the hunger epidemic on Long Island and to support , an anti-hunger organization. According to Chapter President, Alex Lucks 鈥�13 鈥溾��we wanted to draw attention to the thousands of Long Islanders who don鈥檛 know where their next meal is coming from, especially on Super Bowl weekend, a time when most households gorge themselves on food and drink.鈥� On Sunday, February 3, the brothers collected donations from local businesses and residents.
