May 2026

The final days of classes and exams over the next two weeks mark the end of another exceptional academic year for 91Թ. As we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2026 at the University’s 130th Commencement, we have many more reasons to look forward to a bright future led by our newest alumni and everyone in our community who continues to advance our mission.

That advancement is especially evident in the record-breaking success of our annual Giving Day, which raised $2.28 million to propel Adelphi into its next chapter. This crucial support for our students comes as our highly anticipated new Manhattan Center opens its doors this month, offering innovative programs such as the MS in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and the Flex MBA, designed to accelerate careers in New York City. I’m also proud to highlight our student-athletes as the Panther men’s and women’s lacrosse teams continue to dominate in the NE10 Conference. Finally, appropriate for Mother’s Day, you’ll hear from one of our most impactful donors, Carol A. Ammon, MBA ’79, ’10 (Hon.), DNP, who demonstrates the by naming the Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences in her mother’s honor.

I extend my sincere gratitude to all the supporters who have helped make these achievements possible. I can’t wait to see the Adelphi network grow even stronger as more than 2,000 graduates cross the Commencement stage and enter the workforce prepared to make an impact where society needs them most.

Onwards and upwards,

Chris Storm, PhD
Interim President

The Panthers continued their reign atop the NE10 last weekend. A third straight NE10 Championship in men's lacrosse and a second straight NE10 Championship in women's lacrosse mean these superstars have punched their tickets to the NCAA Tournament as No. 1 seeds in the East Region, hosting first-round games this weekend. They join the Adelphi men's and women's tennis teams in clinching NE10 titles this spring.
