Levine cited for Outstanding Work

Stephen Levine is the communications department鈥檚 award听winner for 鈥淥utstanding Student鈥� for the spring semester.听Stephen has been instrumental in upgrading The Delphian,听and is an active member of our community, most recently听as a panel member during Press Day. Stephen also works as听a freelance journalist, and his efforts have been recognized听by the New York State Press Association.

Praise for Poet Award

Praise Odigie, a sophomore Communications Major, won听the “Things I’ll Never Say” contest sponsored by for her poem, 鈥淗ow an听Undocumented Immigrant Looks at America.鈥� Praise was听flown to San Francisco where she hobnobbed with four听other award winners and a wide array of successful artists听and journalists. Praise continues her work on a video听documentary on undocumented immigrants, 鈥淟ife in the听Shadows.鈥� A video of Praise reading her poem can be听accessed at .
