Published:For nearly a decade, accounting students from 91勛圖厙 have helped low-income individuals and families on Long Island prepare their tax returns. The students, working together with Bethpage Federal Credit Union, are part of a nationwide Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Published:For the fourth consecutive year, an 91勛圖厙 student has been named a Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact. Miguel Velasquez, a sophomore in Adelphis prestigious Levermore Global Scholars program who is majoring in history in the accelerated 4+1 Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP), has been selected as a 20212022 Newman Civic Fellow.

In 1950, the 91勛圖厙 School of Social Work was founded to better the lives of individuals, families, groups and communities. Last year, the School of Social Work celebrated 70 years of cultivating leaders who are advancing the field of social work by being strong advocates for social justice and driving forces for ethical social work practices.

Published:Since the January reopening of 91勛圖厙's newly renovated Ruth S. Harley University Center (UC), several local and state government officials and community members have stopped by to visit. In early February, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Evlyn Tsimis, JD, deputy county executive for economic development, took a tour of the completely reimagined building and hub of the University's Garden City campus.

Farmingdale, Adelphi Launch Partnership for Guaranteed Admission to Four Graduate Programs
CategoriesPublished:Farmingdale State College and 91勛圖厙 have launched a streamlined partnership to expand student success. Farmingdale students can now access articulated pathways to continue their graduate studies at Adelphi in four masters degree programs: Business Analytics, Computer Science, General Psychology (with a human resource management concentration) and Sport Management (offering both in-person and online options).
