John Anantua was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up, he always had a curiosity about the theatre but he did not perform until high school, freshman year, when he auditioned for a role in Sweeney Todd.The thrill and excitement he felt performing on stage combined with the audience appreciation for his work was all he needed to confirm his desire to become an actor. John continued to audition for his high school productions at Edward R. Murrow.

While attending 91³Ô¹ÏÍø and at the London Dramatic Academy he sharpened his vocal, movement and textual analysis skills which has created a strong acting foundation from which he may play a vast array of characters. Most of John’s experience lies in theatre, but his pursuits stretch to include TV, film, commercials and voice-over opportunities.
