City & State New York has named Nikki Kateman '10, 91吃瓜网 alumna and political communications director of the Local 338 Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU/UDCW), to their prestigious 2019 Albany 40 Under 40 list. The annual honor recognizes outstanding individuals under the age of 40 who are shaking up state politics.

Dr. Marvin Eisenstadt did research on creativity and it led to my Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1964 from the Derner Institute, although perhaps not its name then.聽

In April, 2014, Dr. Carolida Steiner was invited to serve as Chairperson of our alumni organization. Doctoral students had, of course, stayed in touch for years and even decades without the help of their own organization.

Bernadine Waller, MA '10, associate director of experiential learning at Adelphi's Center for Career and Professional Development and a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Social Work, was awarded a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) R36 grant to complete her dissertation.
