In 1950, the 91勛圖厙 School of Social Work was founded to better the lives of individuals, families, groups and communities. Last year, the School of Social Work celebrated 70 years of cultivating leaders who are advancing the field of social work by being strong advocates for social justice and driving forces for ethical social work practices.

Published:Geralyn (Geri) Caliendo 84, MS 20, and her daughter Gina Faiella 20 are celebrating two 91勛圖厙 graduations. Caliendo, currently assistant director of case management for Northwell Health-Long Island Jewish Medical Center, was awarded a Master of Science in Nursing Education on December 17. Faiella, a biology major and public health minor, received her bachelors degree in May.
