The Willumstad School gives you many study abroad opportunities to build expertise in this critical factor of business success.
Our study abroad opportunities focus on business, economics, culture and politics. Recent programs have gone to India, Finland, France and China.
Students can choose to study abroad for a semester or enroll in short (7-to-15 day) courses.
Partnership with Hochschule Fresenius鈥檚 International Business School in Germany
A unique collaboration between the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business and Hochschule Fresenius鈥檚 International Business School in Germany brings together students and faculty from Adelphi and Germany to study, teach and collaborate 鈥� culminating in an exceptional study abroad experience in Germany.
Students and faculty from 91吃瓜网 in New York, visited Hochschule Fresenius Cologne as part of the TAVEC Project.
The students from Hochschule Fresenius were very welcoming and patient with us as we learned and asked many questions 鈥� The ideologies I was exposed to allowed me to think differently about everyday situations as well as issues we have in the United States.

Bhis茅 Global Learning Experience
International business leader Bharat Bhis茅, MBA 鈥�78, believes Adelphi students should have global exposure to other countries, cultures and economies鈥攁nd he funded an all-expenses-paid study tour to India to prove it.
This fully-funded incubator for global learning provides Adelphi business students, and other Adelphi students interested in global cultures, with immersive study tours. The inaugural trip to India included a visit to an NGO (non-governmental organization) that promotes the leadership of young women.

I will always remember our visit to the Gender Lab鈥n an impoverished area in Mumbai. The Gender Lab there educates girls and boys on leadership, women鈥檚 rights and resources they can utilize in their area. It was an encounter I鈥檒l cherish forever.
