If you need help choosing the right program, our Center for International Education (CIE) advisors can assist in finding the best fit for you.<\/p>\n<h2>Attend an Advising Session<\/h2>\n<p>A mandatory advising session will guide you through the study abroad process, program options, and application steps. CIE advisors are here to help with every detail.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Weekly Advising Sessions<\/strong>: Every Wednesday, September to April, at 1:00pm via <a href=\"https:\/\/adelphiuniversity.zoom.us\/j\/99309330291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zoom<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schedule a Meeting<\/strong>: Can\u2019t attend our weekly sessions? Email us at <a href=\"mailto:cie@adelphi.edu\" rel=\"noopener\">cie@adelphi.edu<\/a> to schedule an appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ensure You Have a Passport<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/passports.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A valid passport<\/a> is required to study abroad. If you don\u2019t have one, follow the following steps to apply:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/passports\/how-apply\/forms.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fill out form DS-11<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/passports\/how-apply\/photos.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Take a photo<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/passports\/how-apply\/citizenship-evidence.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prepare citizenship proof documents<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/iafdb.travel.state.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Make an appointment to submit your passport application<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Apply to Your Program<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/adelphi-sa.terradotta.com\/_portal\/program-discovery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Once you\u2019ve selected a program<\/a>, you\u2019ll need to submit your application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/adelphi-sa.terradotta.com\/_portal\/program-discovery?search=%5B%7B%22filterType%22:%22programDiscoveryProgramParameters%22,%22filterValues%22:%5B%7B%22id%22:10309,%22value%22:%22Faculty-Led%22%7D%5D%7D%5D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Faculty-Led Programs<\/a>: Select &#8220;Apply Now&#8221; on the program page to submit your Adelphi application.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Third-Party Programs<\/strong>: Fill out both the Adelphi and third-party provider applications. Details and application instructions are available on each program\u2019s page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Undecided?<\/strong> Complete our <a href=\"https:\/\/adelphi-sa.terradotta.com\/_portal\/tds-program-brochure?programid=26793\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General Study Abroad Application<\/a> to start your study abroad journey. Once you choose a destination, your information will transfer to the specific program application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Adelphi application includes necessary administrative materials, such as an academic disclosure, health self-assessment, and disciplinary check. You\u2019ll receive email updates from CIE to guide you through the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadlines<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>April 15:<\/strong> For summer, fall, and full-year programs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>October 15:<\/strong> For intersession and spring semester programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some programs have rolling deadlines or require earlier submissions, so be sure to check specific dates.<\/p>\n<h2>Meet with Your Academic Advisor<\/h2>\n<p>Ensure the courses you plan to take abroad align with your academic goals.
