We do not fund applications from entities beyond Adelphi. In addition, requests for capital improvements, salary increases or catering\/food costs will not be considered. We are not here to replace an operating line item but rather to support pilot programs and other timely applications.<\/span><span> <\/span><span>Our purpose in providing seed money for a particular project is with the intent that successful projects will go on to be funded by other sources in the future and the applicant will not return to the WGC for the same or very similar grant.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Deadlines<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Circle will accept<a href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/ce65ef62c196492eb83bc367ee1a14ab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> grant applications<\/a> from <strong>December 1, 2025 &#8211; March 13, 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Grant awards will be determined at the Annual Grant Allocation Meeting on <strong>May 15, 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Award recipients will be notified by <strong>May 22, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Award Amounts<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The number of grants and amounts awarded will be dependent on total dollars raised by the Circle.<\/li>\n<li><span>With the exception of FY 2021, awards allocated typically range from $1,000 &#8211; $5,000<\/span><span>. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Process and Review<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications will be reviewed by an internal review committee consisting of staff within the Offices of the Provost and University Advancement, who will evaluate the proposals and confirm eligibility.<\/li>\n<li>Only eligible applications will be made available for review to Giving Circle Members.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Award recipients will have 18 months to expend funding.<\/li>\n<li><span>Award recipients will submit a written progress report to the WGC within six months of receiving the grant. A final report at the end of the 18 month grant period.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Please visit the WGC web site at: adelphi.edu\/wgc and click on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/giving\/giving-options\/womens-giving-circle\/projects-supported\/\">Projects Supported<\/a> for examples of projects that have been funded in the past. They are listed by year awarded.
