This crash course by Julie Weiner, Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards, breaks down the basics of disability awareness in a clear, approachable way. We鈥檒l talk about what disability and ableism mean, take a quick look at disability rights history in the U.S., and go over simple etiquette tips for interacting respectfully and confidently. You鈥檒l also get an intro to universal design and how it can make spaces, events, and communities more accessible for everyone.
