Many couples enter therapy carrying unresolved trauma that interferes with emotional connection, trust, and conflict resolution.

This Beginner/Intermediate course prepares students to work skillfully with trauma in couple dynamics using attachment, neurobiological, somatic, and parts frameworks. Emphasis is placed on integrating evidence-based models (Eg. EFT, IFS) bringing cultural humility into case conceptualization, and developing the therapists awareness of countertransference. Students will engage in experiential activities, clinical case analysis, and reflective exercises to build competence and confidence in trauma-informed couple work.

This workshop is part of theProgram in Couple Therapy Series.
