Our Mission is to increase the number of economically disadvantaged students and others prepared to enter college, and improve their participation rate in mathematics, science, technology, health-related fields, and the licensed professions.<\/p>\n

You can teach a student a lesson for a day, but if you teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.<\/blockquote>

Eligibility for STEP<\/h2>\n

STEP serves students from the Hempstead, West Hempstead, Westbury, Freeport, Malverne, Valley Stream school districts. Students that are outside of these school districts may join if enrollment space is available.<\/span><\/p>\n
